School projects

Sometimes teachers need a new art project for their school pupils to try, and mosaic is an ideal medium for class.

I have worked with children as young as 4 and up to year 2.

It is a messy medium, and I would not advise using tile snips with young children (smooth edged glass tiles are available) but the results can surprise and delight the children who take part. 

​

An ideal project would need approximately two days for design and making, and a further half day for grouting the following week, to allow the mosaics to dry thoroughly.
